Earlier this month, I happened to be at the Blackhawk Plaza for a sports card & hobby trade show. In a sea of store closures, it was nice to see this little shop open and ready to serve customers. At first glance, the menu is intriguing with lots of sweet & savory items. I wanted to try them all however, as it was the middle of the day, I went with dessert. The crepe I ordered with strawberry ice cream and whipped cream did not disappoint. One thing to note is that they are closed between 2:30-4 pm so the staff can have a break. Will definitely return in the future.

I've been coming here since they opened. My favorite drink of choice is STILL their Iced Vanilla Latte with Oat Milk which they always make for me the moment I sit down. The Vanilla is not your run of the mill bottled ones that every cafe has. It's made from scratch in house. THAT'S why it's bold in flavor, well balanced and every sip is perfect. I've had so many lattes but the one Apple makes it my absolute favorite

Great service. We were seated as soon as we arrived. Food came out quickly. Both the sweet crepe and toasty were delish. The side salad that came with the toastie was a little dry and wilty but everything else was great.

5 stars and more! Ambiance and Service: 5 stars. Very cute ambiance and wonderful staff. Restaurant is the perfect size for a small party also, maybe 20 guests. There is also an adorable patio area with umbrellas, perfect for an outdoor meal on a nice day. Food: 5 stars. We ordered 3 dishes and ate every bite of it all... Tuna Melt Sandwich - open face style, very delicious. Great portion size also, plus a small salad with it. (My teenager doesn't eat salad, but he ate this one!) Chicken Pesto Crepe - I'm not a fan of chicken breast because I find it is typically very dry, but because they cut it super thin, it didn't seem dry at all, esp with the other ingredients in it. Every bite was delicious! It also came with a little salad. I walked away feeling super healthy after this meal. Strawberry Nutella Crepe - Can't go wrong with this one. It was tasty and had just the right balance of ingredients. It has strawberries... so just eat it and think about how the fruit makes it healthy for you. They also offer catering. We will try that next time we have a party. We will definitely come back here. With limited crepe places in our area, I hope others will come to this place and support their business!

It's such a cute place! I made plans to meet with a close friend and we were debating what to eat together and a quick Yelp search showed Brown Butter as a nearby option and I'm so glad we came through! It's a small place, but very cozy looking especially with all the Christmas decoration. There's one bathroom towards the back. For a Saturday afternoon we were able to snag a table easy and given menus and water right after. The whole menu looks delicious, if I'm being honest. If I didn't have 0 things in my stomach when we came through then I would've gladly ordered one of their dessert crepes to eat, but I opted for their chicken pesto and that hit the spot. Overall, no cons, only pros. Brown Butter is worth a visit if you're nearby!

We came back last month for breakfast and we were excited to find the new menu has included the ube roll!!! We tried it a while back and then it was not available! Now it's back and I think we will have to go there more often. We tried the tuna melt, Mango Mania crepe, choco lovers crepe and the crunchy ube roll! Everything was so tasty. Our favorites are Mango Mania crepe and the crunchy ube roll! Service was attentive and quick. It's a nice little cafe in Danville Blackhawk plaza.

A cute cafe near the Blackhawk Museum! I went here after visiting the Blackhawk Museum and it's a small cafe with many crepe options. It was crowded when we went but they tried adding more tables and seats so people didn't need to wait. I thought this was nice, but it goes to the food waiting time and little service. We also got sitted outside next to a gym with their door opened, so we were literally seeing people exercise as we chatted and ate and vice versa for the people working out. We got their thai style street food crepe and Shibuya honey toast. I'm usually not a savory crepe person, but their thai style street food crepe was really delicious with a nice spicy flavor. There's pork floss and different sauces in it. The Shibuya honey toast was soft and you get 2 scoops of ice cream. We chose vanilla and chocolate. There are also different fruit pieces and everything tastes great together. For drinks, they ran out of the blue miracle, so we got all 3 of their soda. The sodas were good and refreshing. The strawberry and lemon one is my favorite.

I woke up this morning and realized I had the day to myself. What better way then to start it off with brunch! After exploring nearby brunches, I stumbled upon Brown Butter -- and boy was I glad I did. To explain this restaurant, it is quaint, has lots of plants, cutesy fonts and images, and amazing food and drinks! The Thai iced espresso was fire (kind of reminds me of Vietnamese coffee, but less sweet/strong). You can ask for sriracha and other hot sauce if that's what rocks your boat. My server was this friendly miss named Apple who was very attentive and made my experience that much more enjoyable. Thank you! :)
